Education

I received my Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology in December, 2007, and my Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders in May, 2005. Both degrees were earned from the Department of Communicative Disorders at University of Rhode Island. I received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Southern Maine completed in December, 1991.



Experience

I completed my Clinical Fellowship Year at Natchaug Elementary School in Windham, Connecticut, where I earned my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).  I completed my clinical work at the following locations:   Curtis Corner Middle School in Wakefield, RI; University of Rhode Island Speech Language and Hearing Clinic in Kingston, RI; Fishing Cove Elementary in North Kingstown, RI; Eleanor Slater Hospital in Cranston, RI. In addition to my clinical experience, I assisted in the development of a book club for individuals with aphasia at the University of Rhode Island Speech Language and Hearing Clinic.
