2008 Soccer Champions

Voluntown and Sayles girls’ soccer teams played an exciting championship game Thursday October 30th at Constitution Field in Voluntown. The two teams battled to a scoreless tie during regulation play. Then with 30 seconds remaining in overtime Voluntown scored the winning goal.

“Enhancing Education Through Technology”

Dear Faculty, Staff, Parents, Community Members, and Students,

On Friday, September 26, 2008 a special statewide “Successful Practices” event was held in Hartford to honor the recipients of “Part D Title II” grants that funded projects completed last year. The Voluntown Public Schools received special recognition for the work of our 2007-2008 second graders who published “Henry’s Wrong Turn”. Mike Creaturo, Ellen Maloney, Margaret Voland, and Jim Ward received special recognition for writing, receiving, and effectively implementing this competitive grant for enhancing literacy through technology......click here for more
