What is a PTO?
A PTO is quite simply an organization made up of caring parents and
dedicated teachers who are willing to work in concert with the school system
to both help fund programs and to provide services that will enhance the
learning experiences for the students at Voluntown Elementary School.

Joining the PTO means bringing your skills and creative ideas to a forum
that works exclusively towards the betterment of the individual Voluntown
student's educational experience.  As more parents and teachers become
involved in the PTO program, the learning experience of the students at VES
will also be enriched by the cooperative effort of all involved.  We are
looking forward to the exciting possibilities that a dynamic PTO group can
bring to VES!
 Membership Information:  please contact VoluntownPTO@yahoogroups.com and request a membership application and it will be sent to you promptly.  Annual Dues are$5.00 per person (100% of the annual dues received are funneled directly to
the school and are used for programs, goods and services that will directly
benefit the children of Voluntown Elementary School).

Please remember that you do not have to be a member of the PTO to attend any
of the meetings.  Everyone is welcome!
