The Voluntown Youth Service Bureau Award
This award is given annually to students who regularly attend after school activities to help support the mission of the YSB, which is to foster positive development in our youth and enable them to become responsible members of our community.
The Youth Service Bureau assists our town with parent training opportunities; programs to develop positive youth involvement; youth suicide, violence, alcohol and drug prevention programs; outreach programs; increased community involvement; and more. The YSB mission is to identify the needs of our community, facilitate to implement services and programs that foster positive development in our youth and enable them to become responsible members of our community. The Bureau plans, evaluates, coordinates, and implements resources and opportunities for our youth and their families.
